2025 Curry Camp: Top Prospects fasterkora.xyz

The 2025 Curry Camp was held in Menlo Park, California from August 13-15, 2025, with some of the nation’s best boys and girls players competing and learning from the greatest shooter of all time. One of the camp’s highlights featured Steph Curry’s former head coach at Davidson College, Bob McKillop. What began as scrimmages and drills transformed into a college-level practice session. During his 60-minute session, McKillop emphasized screening, ball movement, and attacking open spaces. With his attention to detail, he coached and corrected plays that didn’t meet the “Steph Curry standard.”

NCAA players Elliott Cadeau and Tahaad Pettiford participated in drills and warmups, while NBA players Davion Mitchell and Steph Curry took part in scrimmages. With NBA scouts in attendance, here’s what I observed:

Nasir Anderson 6’4, CG Duluth, GA, Game Elite (GA), Prolific Prep (FL), 2027 The left-hander has had a great summer, particularly for Team USA in the U16 Americas where he became a true standout in his class. This was the first time I was able to see him in person—a thick, wide-bodied point guard with elite athleticism who finishes plays strong on fast breaks and has a strong ability to get downhill.

Tai Bell 6’2, CG Miami, FL, SOH Elite (FL), Mater Lakes Academy (FL), 2028 Tai Bell, only entering his sophomore year in high school, won the “character award” which reflects significant leadership and positive impact during the camp. In the Thursday morning scrimmage, Tai showcased some stout defense, ripping the ball from Nasir Anderson and creating a fast break opportunity on the other end. A chiseled frame for his age and great lateral quickness like his dad (former NBA player Raja Bell), he already makes an impact on that end of the floor. Tai has an efficient game and solid mechanics on offense. He showed good coachability when Coach McKillop was running drills.

Chase Branham 6’4, CG Logan-Rogersville, MO, KC Run GMC (MO), Logan-Rogersville HS (MO), 2027 Chase Branham was one of the better shooters at this camp. He too showed great coachability when Coach McKillop was emphasizing attacking spaces with dribble efficiency. Not afraid to be put in the spotlight, he was particularly good in shooting drills and had a knack for making plays on the offensive end. Does not project well as a defender at the pro level.

Cole Cloer 6’7, Wing Hurdle Mills, NC, CP3 (NC), IMG Academy (FL), 2026 Cole is a very confident player with athleticism and some moves to get downhill. He was one of the better scorers here, but most of his creation was for himself and not for others. He showcased solid footwork and has a reverse spin fade-away jumper that he likes to take inside 10 feet if he’s stopped on a drive. He still has room to gain consistency on his shot as it extends out and did not have the lateral quickness to stay in front of point guards at this event. However, he is a strong finisher on lobs and can be a strong finisher off the offensive rebound.

Quinn Costello 6’10, PF Boston, MA, Middlesex Magic (MA), The Newman School (MA), 2026 Quinn Costello showcased his length and feathery touch at Curry Camp. In scrimmages, we didn’t quite see the aggressiveness he had at Pangos in terms of attacking the rim and he seemed to settle some on the perimeter.

Cayden Daughtry 6’0, PG Fort Lauderdale, FL, Florida Rebels (FL), Calvary Christian Academy (FL), 2027 The NBA scouts I sat next to really noted how Cayden always seemed to make plays. The best passer at the camp with solid shooting mechanics, he made plays for himself and others in scrimmages.

Adan Diggs 6’5″, Wing | Goodyear, AZ | All in Elite (CA) | Millennium HS (AZ) | 2028

Adan Diggs gets to his spots with ease, displaying smooth ball-handling skills and midrange proficiency that makes him an elite midrange scorer. During shooting drills, he showed clear strengths in certain areas while needing to expand his overall range. His midrange game combined with his athleticism puts him at an elite level. He finishes plays with authority through strong two-handed dunks and is particularly lethal shooting from the elbow.

Isaiah Hamilton 6’7″, Forward | North York, Ontario, Canada | Elite, Crestwood Prep (CAN) | 2028

Isaiah Hamilton is a true combo forward who showcased excellent finishing ability, self-creation, and court vision at Curry Camp. He was frequently discussed by media and NBA personnel throughout the event. His soft touch around the basket and basketball IQ separate him from his peers. A perfect example of his vision was the viral pass he delivered to Steph Curry during scrimmages on a backdoor cut. He prefers driving right when creating his own shot, but possesses the first step and bounce to reach the rim before defenders can react. Hamilton reads plays well, cutting and finding gaps in the defense to finish strong. While his shooting mechanics are sound, he needs to develop more consistency as he advances to higher levels.

Jarvis Hayes Jr. 6’6″, Wing | College Park, GA | Atlanta Xpress (GA) | Woodward Academy (GA) | 2027

Jarvis showcased strong outside shooting ability and perimeter skills. Unlike his brother, he didn’t display the same downhill attacking ability or finishing prowess around the rim at Curry Camp. He moved well without the ball and showed patience in play development.

Myles Hayes 6’5″, Wing | College Park, GA | Atlanta Xpress (GA) | Woodward Academy (GA) | 2028

The first thing you notice about Myles Hayes is his long, wiry frame. At Curry Camp, he made plays both through strong finishes and from beyond the arc. Quick with the ball, he attacks the rim for powerful flushes when lanes open up, while also excelling in catch-and-shoot situations from the perimeter. He flashed an effective crossover at Curry Camp to create space and has the potential to become a three-level scorer.

Gage Mayfield 6’8″, PF | Moundville, AL | Pro One (AL) | Hale County HS (AL) | 2026

His length and athleticism intrigued NBA personnel in attendance as he consistently finished plays with power in both drills and scrimmages. Mayfield displayed solid rebounding instincts and defensive potential as a power forward. He lacks the size to play center at the elite level, so improving his shooting and ball-handling will be crucial for his development.

Draydne McDaniel 6’8″, PF | Fort Lauderdale, FL | SOH Elite (FL) | Prolific Prep (FL) | 2029

Fresh off announcing his commitment to attend Prolific Prep, Draydne was the only 2029 prospect invited to camp. A good athlete with a long frame, he’s already a strong finisher around the rim. While raw, he has significant room for growth in both his shooting and ball-handling skills.

Babatunde Oladotun 6’10”, Forward | Silver Spring, MD | Team Durant (MD) | James Hubert Blake HS (MD) | 2026

Baba continued his impressive summer camp performances. His ability to handle and shoot the basketball really stands out among his peers in drills. His ball-handling with two balls or either hand is atypical for a player his size. In scrimmages, he displayed strong footwork from the perimeter. On one notable play from the right wing, he took one dribble left, crossed back right, then stepped back for an NBA three-pointer. Plays like this give him a strong case as the top NBA prospect in the 2026 class. To reach that level, he must improve defensively, as his lack of elite length and vertical power for his size becomes more apparent on that end.

Deron Rippey Jr. 6’2″, PG | Brooklyn, NY | New Heights NYC (NY) | Blair Academy (NJ) | 2026

Deron was voted MVP of Curry Camp, blending elite quickness and athleticism to attack downhill at will. In one instance on a switch, he blew by Cole Cloer on the right baseline, finishing on the opposite side of the rim with an athletic layup. In another play, he drove left, spun, and found Quinn Costello cutting baseline for a two-handed flush. He displayed excellent touch from long distance. The question at the top level is whether he can defend well enough or if he’ll be hunted on switches.

Chris Washington Jr. 6’9″, Forward | Murfreesboro, TN | B Maze Elite (TN) | Providence Christian Academy (TN) | 2026

Christopher is a one-of-a-kind athlete whose forehead often reaches rim height when finishing dunks. He’s a menace on fast breaks and off the offensive glass. To excel at the next level, he’ll likely need to play small forward rather than power forward. Despite being older for his class (2006 birth year), he remains quite raw. His handles can get loose and his shooting mechanics are inconsistent. However, his elite length and athleticism will provide ample opportunities to address these weaknesses.

Quinton Wilson 6’5″, SG | Lakeland, FL | Atlanta Xpress (GA) | Overtime Elite Academy (GA) | 2028

Built thick with broad shoulders, Quinton played within himself and made big shots in both scrimmages and drills. As one of the younger players at camp, he didn’t create much off the dribble but was highly proficient in catch-and-shoot situations and creating midrange opportunities off one dribble.
