Left-hander Tim Hill has returned to the Yankees, agreeing to a one-year, $2.85-million contract that includes a club option for 2026, ESPN’s Jeff Passan reported on Tuesday.
Hill, 34, joined the Yankees mid-season in 2024 after being released by the Chicago White Sox and made 35 appearances out of the bullpen. He pitched to a 2.05 ERA, 1.02 WHIP, and 18 strikeouts over 44.0 innings with the Bronx Bombers.
The southpaw also threw 8.1 innings during the Yankees’ post-season run to the World Series, posting a 1.08 ERA and 1.08 WHIP.
The seven-year major league veteran is the lone left-handed reliever on the Yankees’ roster.
