Top Prospects
Dylan Mingo 6’6 180 PG – 2026
Mingo was great and was named camp MVP. He controlled the game better than any other participant. Two of the games I saw of his went into overtime and he was big down the stretch in both. He was the camp’s second leading scorer with 23.8 points per game on an efficient 57.1% FG% and shot 5.5 free throws per game, connecting at 77.3% FT%. He was impressive off the dribble, and while he’s good at using ball-screens, he can create for himself without relying on them. He uses his size and length well to cover ground on his drives to put it out of the reach of the defender. He also passed very well with a camp best 6.8 assists to 4.5 turnovers per game. He averaged 6.5 rebounds and I like his potential as a defender with 1.5 steals per game. The shooting still has to come around but his 35.3% 3PT% on 4.3 3PTA attempts per game is respectable.
Deron Rippey 6’2 175 PG – 2026
Rippey’s a very good scorer and his 21.7 points per game was 4th best for the camp. He shot an efficient 51.1% FG% but can improve his 31.3% 3PT% and 66.7% FT%. He’s quick, putting a lot of pressure on the defense and is a threat to score from anywhere, showing a lot of midrange and in the paint scoring. He had a nice tip-slam on a defender to show his athleticism when needed. He showed some on-ball defense and recorded a 2nd best 2 steals per game. He’s best as a scorer but his other numbers were solid with 4 rebounds and 4.3 assists to 3.7 turnovers per game.
Marcus Johnson 6’2 175 PG – 2026 (Ohio State)
Johnson averaged 16.7 points per game but struggled with inefficiency at 40.8% FG% and 26.7% 3PT% on 5 3PT attempts per game. Much of his offense was multiple crossovers then shoot or drive if space was created. He did use his floater and hit other shots on plays but made it more difficult than it needed to be too often. As usual he rebounded well for his position with 4.3 per game and was low on turnovers, with 3 assists to 0.7 turnovers per game.
Anthony Thompson 6’8 185 SF – 2026
Thompson has good size and despite not shooting too well (25% 3PT%), he can space the floor well as a shooter, with a high release and no wasted motion in his shot. He didn’t play with much energy or handle the ball too much but scored well in the post with his fadeaway and can use his right (off) hand when needed. His best game came on the final day of camp which they didn’t provide stats for. He ended up with a recorded average of 8.8 points per game on 51.7% FG% and didn’t rebound too much with 2.5 per game.
Julius Avent 6’8 200 SF – 2026
Avent played hard and impressed attacking the basket, consistently getting into the paint. He can be a better free throw shooter at 65.2% FT% but did a good job getting to the line with 4.6 attempts per game. He scored 17.4 points per game on an 48.5% FG% and showed his outside shooting at 36.4% 3PT% on 4.4 3PT attempts per game. He also showed some plus defense throughout the camp.
Jarvis Hayes Jr. 6’5 160 SG – 2027
Hayes hardly missed a shot in his 4 games, going 15-22 FG for a camp total, averaging 10.3 points per game on 68.2% FG%, 50% 3PT% (6-12), 100% FT% (5-5). He has a sturdy frame and knows how to attack the rim and finish. He has a nice outside shot, and efficient guards can be rare in camp settings. Hayes didn’t show too much outside of his scoring, but he was active and productive when he played.
Taylen Kinney 6’3 175 PG – 2026
Kinney was fantastic in an intense matchup against Dylan Mingo. He was great playing off the dribble and doesn’t need triple threat to break down defenders. He created shots well for himself, hitting tough midrange pull-ups, and got to the rim at a high rate. He made some nice passes and impressive reads in the pick and roll. He scored a 3rd best 22 points per game on 52.4% FG% and lit it up from outside at 47.6% 3PT% on 5.3 3PT attempts per game. He rebounded well for a guard with 5 per game and passed a 2nd best 6.3 assists to 2 turnovers per game.
Bryson Howard 6’5 200 SF – 2026
Howard put up some points, but could have been more efficient, scoring 15.8 points per game on 44.8% FG%. He’s strong, aggressive, and can defend. He can really hit some tough shots, working to get easier ones will be something for him to improve upon moving forward, but the talent is there. He has some explosive athleticism and let it fly from 3. He ended up shooting 39.5% 3PT% on 7.6 3PT attempts per game. His 4-13 and 1-9 3PT shooting games hurt but he still averaged out well.
Luca Foster 6’5 185 SG – 2026
I saw 2 games from Foster, I really liked what I saw in the first one, but he didn’t have the same impact in the second game. He could get downhill pretty easily and had no trouble getting by defendres. He scored well at the rim and had a big dunk when no defender stepped up in a half-court set. He handled the ball well and didn’t over-dribble. Overall, he shot well from 3PT (40.9% 3PT% on 5.5 3PT attempts per game) as well as off the dribble within the arc. He has a way to go filling out his body frame, but he still doesn’t shy away from initiating contact. He averaged a solid 14.5 points per game on 51.2% FG% and didn’t contribute too heavily outside of scoring.
Beckham Black 6’3 160 PG – 2027
Black has some length and solid guard skills. He has some creativity as a ball-handler, making some nice reads, recording 9 assists in one game alone. He still has some physical maturing to do and only shot 1 free throw over 4 games, but he has some natural athleticism as he showed on a few finishes. He averaged 9.5 points per game on 50% FG% and 50% 3PT%.
Chris Washington 6’9 175 SF – 2026
Washington is an impressive athlete. His length pops out at first glance, when combining it with his run and jump ability, he can be a tough matchup. He can slash but he’s better cutting off the ball when he doesn’t have to create. He scored 15.2 points per game on 56.6% FG%. He’s a capable shooter but will need to continue to work on it, shooting 30.8% 3PT% on 2.6 3PT attempts per game. He wears his emotions at times but always plays hard. I like his potential as a defender with his competitiveness and ability to cover ground if he can stay disciplined, blocking 1 shot per game.
Colben Landrew 6’5 200 SF – 2026
Landrew is a strong wing who played with good confidence and aggression. He’s skilled with the ball and can create for himself, averaging 20 points per game and shot very efficiently at 50.8% FG%, 47.6% 3PT% on 5.3 3PT attempts, and 80% FT%. He got to the rim well, handled contact, and finished with a few dunks. He’s long and rebounded well, with a 5th best 6.8 boards per game. His 8 assists to 2 turnovers over 4 games was respectable as well.
Jasiah Jervis 6’5 180 SG – 2026
Jervis stood out as a scorer. He’s dangerous off the dribble and penetrates with confidence as he can hit contested shots with either hand. His pull-up is effective as well, making shots from anywhere on the floor. He had a 2-point outlier game but still averaged 14.3 points on 53.8% FG% and a deadly 50% 3PT% on 3.5 3PT attempts per game.
Qayden Samuels 6’6 200 SF – 2026
Samuels (pictured) has added some strength over the past year. Despite settling for a lot of contested pull-ups and step-backs, he has a knack for hitting tough shots and created a lot of offense for himself. He led the camp in scoring (26.4 points per game, 54.2% FG%) and rebounding (9.8 per game). He got to the rim pretty well when he wanted and hit plenty of 3s off the dribble, connecting at 37.1% 3PT% on 7 attempts per game. He’s a nice athlete and threw down some dunks on a few occasions. He didn’t look to pass it much but instead thrived as a scorer in this camp setting.
Kayden Allen 6’7 205 SF – 2026
Allen hit some pull-ups and scored 17.3 points per game on 53.2% FG%. He doesn’t show much ability to create offense for himself but showed he can provide energy, scoring from midrange and at the rim. He also drew fouls and tallied up a lot of points at the free throw line to shoot 15-16 for a camp total. Despite his midrange success, he didn’t do much damage outside the arc at 28.6% 3PT%. He showed some defense and came away with some steals (1.5 per game).
Latrell Allmond 6’8 225 PF – 2026
Almond showed toughness attacking on offense and rebounding. He’s strong, athletic, and doesn’t let others outplay him. He gets good movement off the ball and was successful from the perimeter with a nice looking outside shot, shooting 40.7% 3PT% on 5.4 attempts per game. He averaged 18.4 points per game on 55.2% FG% and his 6 rebounds per game were solid too. His long arms and toughness help on the defensive end, and he blocked 6 shots in a single game.
Ikenna Alozie 6’2 190 SG – 2026
Alozie was explosive as usual and hit some tough outside shots. He can work on getting better looks as well as pass the ball more, often times keeping his head down instead of hitting the teammate up the court or open in the corner, sometimes settling for a contested 3 late in the shot clock without making a pass. It was uncharacteristic of him only shooting 2 free throws over 5 games, but he still showed his burst off the dribble and had some good plays attacking the basket. Alozie scored 17.4 points per game on 56.1% FG% and shot 50% 3PT% on 4.4 attempts per game.
Jermal Jones 6’4 180 SG – 2026
Jones got to his spots and put up points. He’s quick and handles well, which he was able to show in the half-court and open floor. He did a good job of not chucking up a lot of quick 3s, going 3-7 3PT over 5 games, and got some good looks. He also took advantage of transition opportunities, dunking on a defender on two occasions I saw. He’s wired to score and wasn’t heavy on the assists with only 3 in his 5 games. He made his way into the 50/40/90 club in his 12.6 points per game on 61.1%/42.9%/94.1%.
Davion Adkins 6’8 205 C – 2026
Adkins scores well in the paint with his quick elevation and athleticism, dunking everything within reach. He doesn’t stretch the floor too much but has a nice stroke from the free throw line, connecting on 76.9% FT%. He scored 11 points per game on 54.8% FG%, but stood out more defensively, leading the camp with 3.3 blocks per game.
Ryan Hampton 6’4 190 SF – 2027
Hampton had some good moments and contributed 13.3 points per game on 50% FG%. I liked him more off the ball, he can get sloppy making moves and doesn’t look real comfortable with the ball at times. He tends to duck his head and force his way to the basket, forcing to drive to his right. It worked for him at times as he has some length and athleticism, covering ground very well, but will need to improve offensive technique moving forward.
Babatunde Oladotun 6’9 175 PF – 2027
Oladotun was solid. He showed some shooting, and despite lacking strength, he was best in the midrange/post, handling some physicality from defenders to make some nice shots around the basket. He had some plays where he had big men guarding him on the perimeter, where he was able to get them off their feet and score at the rim to show a few nice dunks. He did shoot well from deep at 46.2% 3PT% and scored 16.5 points per game on 50% FG%. However, his free throw shooting was poor at only 53.3%.
Cameron Williams 6’11 200 PF – 2026
Williams has very impressive tools and talent. He has a way to go putting it all together but has plenty of potential. With his length and athleticism, he’s good cleaning up missed shots or when assisted. The stats have him going 1-6 from 3PT. I thought I saw him knock down a few 3s but maybe his feet were on the line, however he had some nice shots off the catch in the corner, showing ability to stretch the floor. He also shot 11-13 from the foul line. Williams averaged 12.8 points on 59.1% FG% and defended well with a 5th best 1.6 blocks per game.
Kohl Rosario 6’5 190 SG – 2026
Rosario has had a good summer, and it continued at the camp. He has a strong build and can play physical. He can penetrate and has the athleticism to finish above the rim, but he was bothered by length and got a few shots blocked at the rim. He’s also effective spacing the floor and has pure shot off the catch but didn’t shoot it too well on only 20.8% 3PT% on 4.8 3PT attempts per game. He still found ways to get it done as a scorer with 14.8 points per game on 51.9% FG% and connected on 13 of his 14 free throw attempts.
Joe Philon 6’8 180 SF – 2026
Philon is an athletic forward and finished with plenty of dunks. He was aggressive and can defend but fouled out in both games I saw him play. He used his length and long strides attacking the basket. He didn’t show much outside shooting (1-8 3PT), and he can improve his half-court offensive technique overall but was an efficient scorer with 14.4 points per game on 65.1% FG%.
Kaden House 6’4 175 SG – 2026
House made things happen when he was in the game. He only shot 1-6 from 3PT but hit some jump shots off the dribble and used his quickness to blow by defenders at a high rate. He’s not real explosive but he is accurate when shooting contested layups with either hand. He’s also very capable passing the ball, making the defense pay for double teaming to find a teammate underneath the basket or a shooter on the perimeter, recording 4.4 assists to 0.6 turnovers per game.
Quinn Costello 6’8 185 PF – 2026
Costello had some impressive moments. He can handle pretty well at his size and has some pick and roll/pop potential, as he’s athletic and has an outside shot at 51.6% 3PT% on 6.2 3PT attempts per game. When he gets two good steps, he’s bound to dunk it out of the defender’s reach. In one game, he hit the game winning shot on a drive by beating the help defender to the basket. He struggled from the free throw line at just 58.8% but still scored well with 14.8 points on 51.1% FG%. He has a way to go getting stronger but with his shot at his size and his athleticism, Costello is an interesting prospect.
Sayon Keita 7’0 C – 2026
Keita showed good potential and was among the best big men in the camp. He can score on simple plays and intrigues more on the defensive end. He’s not real strong but has good size, length, and athleticism, blocking shots well for his team, posting a 2nd best 3.2 per game. He consistently played hard earning numerous dunks and flashed some low-post scoring. Keita averaged 13 points per game on 67.5% FG% and made 11 of his 13 free throws.
