England women ran out comfortable winners over Jamaica in their final warm-up game before the 2025 European Championship.
Two goals from Ella Toone and a goal each from Lucy Bronze, Georgia Stanway, Alessia Russo, Aggie Beever-Jones and Beth Mead ensured a convincing 7-0 victory for the Lionesses at Leicester City’s King Power Stadium on Saturday.
Jamaica had a goal disallowed in the first-half but it proved to be a clinical afternoon’s work for Sarina Wiegman’s side as they prepare to defend their crown in Switzerland this summer.

Toone opened the scoring after 10 minutes before an equaliser from The Reggae Girlz was chalked off after it was deemed Kiki Van Zanten, in an offside position, had obstructed the view of Hannah Hampton when Kayla McKenna had the initial shot.
Bronze then doubled England’s lead and Toone added a third just before the break.
Stanway made it four on the hour mark before Russo nodded home from Lauren James’ chipped cross.
Beever-Jones and Mead provided the icing late on as a dominant England produced the perfect confidence-booster ahead of a tricky European Championship opener against France in six days time.
The Lionesses begin the defence of their European crown when they take on Les Bleues on 5 July in Zurich (20:00 UK time).
