Toronto Blue Jays draft picks Arjun Nimmala, Trey Yesavage and Ricky Tiedemann have earned some industry recognition for their play in the minor leagues.
Nimmala, a shortstop, is No. 42, while pitchers Yesavage and Tiedemann are Nos. 70 and 99, respectively, in the July top-100 prospects list from Baseball America.
Nimmala is a fast riser after not being on the list in January. The 20th-overall pick in the 2023 MLB Draft, Nimmala, 19, is slashing .244/.330/.764 with 11 homers and 32 RBIS in 69 games for single-A Vancouver this season.
Yesavage, 21, made the list for the first time in May at No. 98.
The right-hander, picked 20th overall in 2024, was promoted to double-A New Hampshire last month. He has a 2.92 ERA in 64.2 innings across three levels this season.
Tiedemann, 22, has been out since undergoing Tommy John surgery last July. Picked 91st overall in 2021, Tiedemann had reached triple-A Buffalo before being sidelined.
Boston Red Sox outfielder Roman Anthony, called up for his major-league debut last month, is No. 1 on the prospect list.
Chicago Cubs outfielder Owen Caissie, a native of Burlington, Ont., is No. 58.
New York Mets right-hander Owen Tong, a native of Markham, Ont., is No. 60.
