The Ligue 1 winners started their campaign by thrashing one of the teams to have beaten them in the 2024/25 Champions League, Atletico Madrid.

PSG Club World Cup knockout stage path
PSG finished second in their group and beat Group A runners-up Inter Miami on Sunday, June 29 in Atlanta.
That took them to a quarter-final against Bayern Munich in Philadelphia on Friday, July 5, which they won 2-0.
Their semi-final was in New Jersey against Real Madrid and resulted in a 4-0 win.
The final is also in New Jersey at 20:00 on Sunday, July 13 against Chelsea.
