Tottenham are weighing up a move for Crystal Palace and England forward Eberechi Eze as they look to strengthen their attack.
Manager Thomas Frank is seeking reinforcements in the final third after James Maddison was ruled out for most of the season with an anterior cruciate ligament injury.
The squad has already been hit by the departure of Heung-Min Son, who left earlier this month after 10 years at the club, scoring 173 goals in 454 appearances.
Midfielder Dejan Kulusevski also remains sidelined following knee surgery.
Eze enjoyed an impressive campaign for Palace last season, scoring 14 goals in all competitions, including the decisive strike in their FA Cup final win over Manchester City.
The 27-year-old made his England debut in 2023 and has since earned 11 caps, featuring three times at Euro 2024.
While Tottenham are also in discussions with Manchester City over a move for Brazil winger Savinho, multiple sources suggest Eze is emerging as a major target. It is unclear whether Spurs intend to push forward with deals for both players.
Arsenal hold an interest in Eze as well, but are currently prioritising outgoings, with Leandro Trossard, Reiss Nelson and Fabio Vieira among those likely to leave.
Tottenham’s pursuit could prompt the Gunners to speed up their own plans.
Eze joined Palace from Queens Park Rangers in 2020 in a ÂŁ19.5m deal and has since scored 40 goals in 168 appearances. His contract at Selhurst Park runs until the summer of 2027.
