Tottenham have completed the singing of Randal Kolo Muani on loan from Paris Saint-Germain.
Kolo Muani had been in talks over a move to Juventus following a successful loan spell with the Serie A club last season.
However, those negotiations broke down, leading Juve to switch their focus to RB Leipzig’s Lois Openda.
That has enabled Spurs to swoop in and add the France forward to their attacking ranks in a deal that does not include an option or obligation to make the deal permanent.
He becomes Tottenham’s fourth attacking acquisition of the transfer window, Spurs having already brought in Mathys Tel, Mohammed Kudus and Xavi Simons to swell their options going forward.
Kolo Muani scored eight goals in 16 Serie A appearances last season, helping the Bianconeri qualify for the Champions League. He then scored two goals at the Club World Cup before his loan spell came to an end.
He will hope to make a similar impact for Tottenham, who have begun the new Premier League season with six points from their opening three games, their unbeaten start ended by a 1-0 home defeat to Bournemouth last Saturday.
