Blue Jays’ Bo Bichette shows off new haircut at UFC Fight Night in Tampa fasterkora.xyz

Through six years in the big leagues, Bo Bichette has become synonymous with his luscious locks.

But as the world found out Saturday night, Bo Flows no longer.

The Toronto Blue Jays shortstop was in attendance at UFC Fight Night in Tampa, and cameras focused in on the 26-year-old, showing off Bichette’s new look.

Bichette, a Florida native, has kept his hair long while becoming a household name in MLB — and the flow has become a part of his brand throughout his career.

During the COVID-19 pandemic, Bichette was the Blue Jays’ representative in the MLB The Show Players League, streaming games from his ‘boflows’ Twitch page. Bichette also has a “Bo Flows” collection of headbands — which he can often be seen wearing on the field — with Canadian manufacturer JUNK Brands.

Coming off an injury-riddled 2024 that saw the two-time All-Star suit up for just 81 games with Toronto, Bichette might be looking to take a page out of teammate Vladmir Guerrero Jr.’s book by using some hair therapy to coax some better on-field results.

Not only did Bichette miss time this past summer, but he struggled when he was on the field. He slashed .225/.277/.322 and hit just four home runs, logging career lows in almost every category you can think of.

Guerrero, meanwhile, seemingly aligned his mid-season surge with a June 19 haircut.

Before parting with his famed dreadlocks, Toronto’s first baseman owned a .766 OPS and seven homers in 318 plate appearances.

From that day on, Guerrero’s production skyrocketed. He hit 23 home runs over his next 379 trips to the plate, boosting his OPS to 1.084 over the next three months.

As he enters his final season of team control with the Blue Jays before hitting free agency, Bichette has seemingly gotten a head start on what he hopes will be a new look in 2025.
