Giants ownership will be spared the indignity of more flyovers pulling banners carrying disparaging and suggestive messages. The weather will be rainy with a low ceiling which has grounded all non-essential air traffic in the area on Sunday.
We reported earlier this week that several banners were scheduled to fly over MetLife Stadium this Sunday.
One of the banners would have read “Mr Mara. enough. Clean house or sell the team.” Another would have played into the mysterious drone phenomenon, reading “Are drones searching for Giants wins at home?”
The flight cancellations won’t likely end this week. The Giants play down in Philadelphia next Sunday to close out the season and there have been rumors that the banners could emerge in the sky down there.
