Scott, 30, bolsters the Dodgers’ bullpen with an elite arm from the left side. He pitched to a 1.75 ERA with 84 strikeouts and 22 saves over 72 innings split between the Miami Marlins and San Diego Padres last season.
The six-foot southpaw made his first MLB All-Star game in 2024. Prior to joining the Padres at the trade deadline last year, Scott had almost exclusively played on non-competitive teams, splitting his first seven seasons between the Marlins and Baltimore Orioles.
He will now occupy a leverage relief role on the World Series favourite.
