The Michigan football program probably wouldn’t mind if Connor Stalions never mentioned the Wolverines again.
He was at the center of the sign-stealing scandal that put the Wolverines in the crosshairs of a major NCAA investigation. Since all that noise, Stalions resigned from his role on Jim Harbaugh’s staff and coached high school football.
He still has his eyes set on the big house, though. Recently speaking with J.D. Pickell of On3, Stalions revealed that he still has a goal of being Michigan’s head coach one day.
He was asked if being the head coach at Michigan is the “north star” of his current coaching career.
“Of course,” Stalions said. “I’ll outwait anyone. Whenever it’s time.”
